The state’s retail and online sportsbooks went live in September 2021, with DraftKings, FanDuel, PointsBet and Caesars leading the way. The retail and online sportsbooks were the first in the country to offer this type of gambling, following months of maneuvering in the legislature and public statements of support from Gov. Doug Ducey. The other states that have legalized sports betting include New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
